It’s sooooo important to build up our young girls and instill in them how much they are worth. As women we often look for validation at some point in our life but our young girls are hurting at an early age and are excepting anything that makes them feel good for that moment. We as a community have to step in and guide them and teach them; they set the standard for how they will be treated. Saying NO does not make you any less of a person or less important. Love… The word love is used soooo loosely… We often refer to it as a feeling but as I celebrated my Aunt & Uncle’s 30th wedding anniversary it reminded me that Love is far more than a feeling/noun. It’s a verb… It takes lots of work to keep love alive. God has designed a special story for each and every one of us. Some of us will be in each other’s stories and some we will just watch from a far. But just like everything in life there is a process. When you come in contact with people be mindful that their story is different from yours and we must treat people as a gift from God.
